Final Expedition of the year: Oslo again

I travel to Oslo so much that I am feel it is like nothing. Let's see - i joined this board in 2007, so that is something like 50 trips in that time frame.

For some reason I am still a member of the United President's Club, now called the United Club.

Benefits? Stale rolls, crackers, no cheese no cookies. I know, First World Problems. But in this case, you certainly don't get what you pay for.

Here I am on the plane. I am happy.

But once I got to Amsterdam, I was able to get some stroopwaffels and coffee:

Oslo was cold - about 18° F and snowy.

There was a winter fair going on. Here is the Ferris Wheel. It was empty:

and at 2:00 PM, the sun was only about 10° above the horizon.

Lots of cute little shops:

You can see how happy I am to be there:

If you speak Norwegian, you can see that all of these are Christmas (Jul) related:

Sausages:

Mittens:

But then I had to fly home.

This is the Frankfurt airport:

Where you get to eat Frankfurters!

It was good to get home. Doreen surprised be by being there (she was supposed to be at a cookie party) and having some nice treats for a snack!

Merry Christmas to All!
